Ruby Horton is a Southern Gospel Singer and has been singing in the Southeastern United States for over 15 years. She accepted the Lord as her personal Savior on January 19, 1969 in a revival at Immanuel Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Her main goal in life is to exalt the Savior through music and be instrumental in leading people to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Her first recording, released in 1993 titled "Going Home", was dedicated to the memory of her dear mother, Marie Jeter Small. Just before "Going Home" was released, Mrs. Small was taken home to be with the Lord due to cancer. Her mother's encouragement for this project and love for music have become one of the driving factors in Ruby's life and was one of the things that brought her to this ministry in song. Ruby has learned over the years how to live in the all sufficient Grace of the Lord through the various valleys and mountain tops of life. The Lord has graciously and lovingly helped Ruby through the years and has given her many precious promises from His Word to share with others who have also gone through the rough and dark valleys of life.

Her number one goal is to be a soul-winner and lead others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Over the years, the Lord has allowed Ruby to sing the Gospel in over 100 churches in the Southeast USA. Ruby has two projects released to date; "Going Home", and "He Is The Only Way" which was released in May, 2002. Ruby is currently working on another new Solo project that will be coming out in 2003.

If you ever need a word of encourgement, these are the projects that you will want to listen to over and over again. Ruby's prayer is that the words to all of her songs will give encouragement to the saints and bring many other people to the Lord. Her desire is to minister in music in any local church that will open their doors to her. Ruby and Tri-Star Ministries claim the Prayer of Jabez for expanding our territory and opening up the doors to minister wherever the Lord leads us.

I Chronicles, 4:10, And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, "Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me"! And God granted him that which he requested.
