This album is dedicated to the memory of my mother, Marie J. Small, 1924-1993, for her love and support of this project. Loving thanks is given to my family and friends, especially my husband, Bill;
my friends, Elaine & Tom; it is their love and belief in me that has made this album possible.
Special thanks to my producer and everyone that took part in this production.
Most of all I thank my Lord Jesus Christ. He is the reason I sing.
Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me."
Exodus 15:1, "I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously"

"Going Home"
Ruby's Latest Release. . . . .

Going Home - A promise of peace. . . . . A promise of a glorious eternity!
Every once in a great while you enjoy a breath of fresh air, a change of scenery, or a new challenge. Something entirely different and not the norm.
Every once in a great while you meet a special face, hear a new voice and listen to a new song.
In this case . . . you'll make a new friend!

To meet Ruby Horton is to love her. Hundreds have and do! Ruby's genuine love for our Lord and her desire to use her music to win people to Christ has always been evident and ring true on her album "Going Home". Ruby is truly one of the bright, fresh new leaders in Southern Gospel Music.

Ruby, a born again Christian, from Tallahassee, Florida, has been singing alto in church choirs most of her adult life. About ten years ago, she was inspired by the Holy Spirit to launch out and sing Southern Gospel Music for the glory of the Lord as a soloist. In 1993 Ruby recorded her first Gospel Album, which is rich in some of the old hymns and new material.

Having been reared up in an Alabama family of country musicians, Ruby has always had a love for music and singing. But now, her interest is in spreading God's word through Southern Gospel Singing. Ruby's lovely voice and country style of singing a gospel song will bless your heart. Ruby knows that her musical talents are God given and that He will continue using her for His glory. Ruby has performed throughout the southeast in churches, schools, reunions, public outings, anywhere she can proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through her music.
